📋 Description

• Learn about the world of publishing • Work in the Art and Design department within adult, children’s, or corporate divisions • Create covers and interior designs for books • Set up hardcover and paperback mechanicals • Conduct image, type, and illustrator research • Create social media assets • Collaborate with editorial and marketing departments on visual-packaging direction • Gain exposure to the publishing process through panels, networking events, and employee speaker series

🎯 Requirements

• Must be ready to work full-time on or before June 2028 • Able to work 28 hours/week throughout the program • Available and committed to working June 7, 2027–August 12, 2027 • Must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship program • Must be over the age of 18 • Submit a resume, cover letter, and portfolio • Portfolio required; applications without portfolios will not be reviewed • Able to work primarily on Eastern Time
