📋 Description
• Serve as the program lead for NC HIEA's efforts under the Rural Health Transformation (RHT) project • Align NC HIEA’s RHT implementation planning with statewide RHT project planning • Negotiate and establish vendor services supporting NC HIEA RHT workstreams • Hire technical staff with capacity to implement NC HIEA RHT workstreams • Establish agreements with partner agencies to secure the flow of federal funds • Establish processes to ensure successful implementation • Support eligible rural healthcare providers with facility onboarding to NC HealthConnex • Provide targeted technical assistance and tailored training programs • Oversee personnel and technical vendor support dedicated to RHT goals • Work with NC DHHS, rural healthcare providers, and other RHT partners on implementation • Develop provider and payer engagement strategies • Align implementation with state and federal policies • Establish KPIs and continuous quality improvement processes
🎯 Requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills for effective internal and cross-agency coordination • 5 years of expertise in Health IT, health services, and health policy • Experience with clinical data in a Health Information Exchange (HIE) environment preferred • 5 years of experience in project leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement • 5 years of experience in procurement, vendor management and oversight, and contract negotiation • 5 years of experience developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitoring performance metrics, and implementing continuous quality improvement processes • 2 years of experience with federal funding compliance requirements and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) program regulations and guidelines
