📋 Description

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in JH Intro to Languages for a diverse, international student group • Use teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive, supportive online classroom • Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt teaching to support learning outcomes • Plan and communicate course schedules, lesson content, and assessment timelines • Lead professional, interactive live sessions using CGA’s online learning resources and technology • Set homework, design and administer assessments, and provide constructive feedback • Develop educational materials, including tests and exams, for CGA’s resource library • Manage the online classroom on Canvas, including assignments and assessments

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience at middle / junior high school (Grades 6–8) in a school setting; tutoring experience cannot be counted • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Languages, Linguistics, or a related field • Exceptional communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team • Familiarity with online teaching platforms • Passion for innovative, technology-enabled education • Knowledge of a US middle school / junior high curriculum • Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching approaches • Recognised teaching qualification preferred, such as a postgraduate certificate in education, teaching degree, or teaching license • Previous online teaching experience preferred
