• Responsible for the preparation of mortgage closing documents. • Ensure all essential information is accurate while communicating with internal staff and settlement agents. • Understand and follow all closing procedures to comply with all federal and state requirements. • Check accuracy for all essential information provided at submission for closing. • Communicate with loan officer, processing, and underwriting staff. • Prepare accurate figures for monthly payments, escrows, prepaid interest, etc. • Produce and organize all closing documents including conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans. • Review loan documents to ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met. • Prepare closing disclosure and ensure all fees are accurate on final CD.
• 5 years’ experience in preparing mortgage loan closing documents, preferred. • Knowledge of multiple investors closing policies and procedures. • Knowledge of RESPA, TILA, Fair Lending, Flood and state laws and regulations, preferred. • Encompass experience, preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook.
