📋 Description

• Manage key aspects of project development, implementation, and consolidation under the Chief of Party’s guidance • Serve as a secondary donor contact and engage public, private, and non-government stakeholders • Manage project functions to achieve timely, quality results, milestones, and budget objectives • Coordinate program and operations leads and uphold CRS program quality standards • Lead and oversee technical implementation across participating countries • Provide technical guidance and quality assurance to consortium partners and country teams • Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop project staff • Contribute to senior staffing plans and recruitment • Monitor and mitigate national and regional risks affecting staff and programming • Maintain safety, security, safeguarding, accountability, compliance, and donor reporting standards • Oversee partner budgets, sub-awardee and vendor activities, and technical deliverables • Maintain consortium partner relationships and coordinate partner organization activities • Promote cross-country learning, knowledge management, and application of lessons learned • Establish a safe learning environment and respond to performance deficiencies • Identify staff performance gaps, training opportunities, and technical assistance needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international development, International Relations, or a relevant technical area • Minimum 5 years’ relevant management and technical experience • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing donor funds, including multi-country grants • Recognized technical experience and qualifications demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, or similar evidence • Experience coaching and mentoring project staff • Demonstrated successful management of complex, high-value, multi-activity projects and logistics • Staff management abilities conducive to a learning environment • Strong budget management knowledge and experience • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), web conferencing applications, and information and budget management systems • Strong strategic, analytical, systems-thinking, and problem-solving skills • Strong relationship-management abilities • Ability to lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams • Fluency in English required • Willingness and ability to travel up to 35% • Ability to legally work where the position is performed • Pre-employment medical clearance for positions requiring residence or frequent travel outside a home country • Current or permanent residency in countries where CRS has offices is prioritized, not required
