📋 Description

• Provide malaria technical advice, guidance, and support to Country Program teams on program design and implementation • Contribute to agency-wide malaria strategies, standards, tools, and best practices • Engage partners, donors, governments, and cross-sectoral stakeholders, including gender, protection mainstreaming, and disaster risk reduction integration • Provide technical solutions to REACH Malaria teams remotely and on-site for strategic planning and application of program standards, tools, and monitoring and evaluation practices • Provide technical backstopping across several countries where CRS leads activities in partnership with PATH • Maintain current malaria technical knowledge and manage introduction and scale-up of best practices and technical interventions • Support capacity strengthening through learning and training strategies, curricula, workshops, mentoring, and coaching • Support knowledge management and learning by collecting and analyzing program data, evaluating activities, measuring impact, and sharing lessons learned • Establish and maintain relationships with donors, prime contractors, national malaria programs, peer organizations, research institutions, and other partners • Participate in malaria programming forums to collect and share best practices • Work with the USG-funded REACH Malaria project, which supports countries in delivering facility- and community-based malaria services

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required • Minimum of eight years relevant international working experience in an advisory or management role with progressive responsibilities • Minimum of three years working for programming interventions in malaria • Previous experience providing technical assistance and developing successful proposals for external donor funding • Demonstrated application of technical principles and concepts in malaria programming • General knowledge of related disciplines, such as MNCH programs • Proficiency in MS Office packages: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Proficiency in web conferencing applications, information and budget management systems, and knowledge-sharing networks • Experience in business development, project design, proposal development, and technical writing in malaria • Experience in mentoring, coaching, facilitation, and training using adult learning principles • Experience with program monitoring and evaluation, data collection tools and methodologies, data analysis, and data presentation • Experience networking and managing relationships with donors, national malaria programs, peer organizations, and faith-based civil society partners • Understanding of partnership principles • Strong relationship management, strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and systems thinking skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong presentation, facilitation, training, mentoring, and coaching skills • English and French required • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% • Ability to legally work where the position is performed • Candidates requiring residence or frequent travel outside their home country must clear pre-employment medical clearance • Master's Degree in Public Health, Health Systems, Medical Sciences, or related area is preferred/an advantage
