📋 Description

• Lead clients through discovery of personal or business needs, goals, and financial status • Identify gaps and opportunities and describe life, long-term care, and disability income insurance solutions • Manage daily activities and drive sales activity and pending business • Handle incoming calls from referral sources and participate in pre-set calls with clients and advisors • Complete insurance applications and follow cases through the underwriting process • Explain insurance products, product differences, and advantages to clients and advisors • Guide sales activity through product purchase • Explain basics of estate planning, business planning, asset leveraging, and insurance planning • Explain and handle 1035 exchanges and insurance forms • Determine insurance needs and appropriate coverage amounts

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience • Minimum 2 years direct life, long-term care and disability income insurance selling experience in the field directly with clients and/or 3+ years handling inside sales helping agents sell life insurance through a General Agency or insurance carrier platform • Active Life and Health Insurance license required • Must possess and maintain appropriate FINRA registrations (e.g. Series 6 and 63) • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers • Effective time management skills • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously • Capable of working independently and in a team environment • Ability to work in a self-directed fashion • Experience with PCs in a Windows environment • Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office • Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization • Clear understanding of term, whole life, universal life, and variable universal life products, plus long-term care and disability insurance solutions • Proven sales track record of hitting established sales quotas in the insurance industry • Knowledge of the underwriting process • Successful completion of background screening
