📋 Description

• Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to define business requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria • Translate product initiatives into epics, user stories, and technical requirements • Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog • Lead backlog refinement sessions and support sprint planning • Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle • Develop understanding of application architecture, data sources, APIs, and integrations • Write SQL queries to validate data, investigate issues, and support acceptance testing • Perform user acceptance testing of features, integrations, and APIs • Monitor data quality and validate consistency between backend systems and user-facing applications • Partner with UX/UI and Design teams to improve user experience and product workflows • Create acceptance criteria for functional, API, and data-related development work • Support release readiness, documentation, release notes, and user guides • Leverage approved AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, Jira Rovo, or similar technologies to improve productivity, documentation, requirements gathering, and testing efficiency • Mentor colleagues and contribute to continuous learning and collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical, or related field preferred • 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within a software development environment • Strong experience managing Agile backlogs, sprint planning, and refinement sessions • Experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements • Strong API experience, including documenting requirements and validating integrations • Advanced SQL experience, including data validation, troubleshooting, and exploratory analysis • Experience with data-focused products, analytics platforms, reporting tools, or business intelligence applications • Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and business requirements for engineering teams • Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools • Visa sponsorship unavailable; must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future • Preferred: experience in fintech, banking, financial services, or regulated industries • Preferred: experience with embedded analytics or business intelligence tools such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms • Preferred: experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms • Preferred: experience with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL • Preferred: familiarity with Figma and UX/UI collaboration processes • Preferred: Product Owner, Agile, Scrum, or Business Analysis certifications
