📋 Description

• Diagnose and complete less complex repairs to generators and components at customer sites • Complete repair activities on generators or components • Engage with customers courteously and professionally • Perform maintenance and repairs using diagnostic tools • Maintain detailed service records • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies • Complete ongoing development and certifications on new and existing Cummins products • Maintain own tools • Conduct moderately complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, minor and mid-level repairs, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance on power generation systems, parts, and components at customer sites • Enhance service workshop knowledge and skills by following established procedures and guidelines

🎯 Requirements

• Participation in an on-call rotation is required • Some overtime may be necessary based on workload • Occasional overnight travel may be required • Possibility of travel to support other locations as needed • A current valid license is required • 5-year motor vehicle report free from major violations • Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical • 3 years driving experience • Subject to DOT driving regulations, including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use • Must be 21 years of age • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution • Current relevant electrical certification • Locally valid driving permit • Basic level field service work experience • Intermediate knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products • High Voltage/Low Voltage experience • Customer service experience • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities • Electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision • Hands-on exposure to power generation products • Basic Diesel Engine experience • Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components • Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and commission new ATS installations
