This genetic disorder affects blood vessels, leading to severe health issues if not diagnosed and treated early. Established in 1991, Cure HHT supports patients through education, resources, support groups, and conferences, while driving scientific research through grants and partnerships. It aims to improve the lives of those impacted by HHT globally and seeks donations to continue its transformative work in research and patient care.

📋 Description

• Provide management and oversight of the HHT Clinical Trial Network and Cure HHT’s biotech and pharma partnerships • Serve on the leadership team and report to the CEO • Retain and grow Clinical Trial Network membership • Deliver customized programs under member sponsorship agreements • Manage member update meetings and Annual Reviews, and report delivery against contractual commitments • Cultivate the member pipeline and help close additional members • Accelerate patient recruitment and referrals to trial sites • Manage prescreening, referral routing, and CTN–CRO handoffs • Lead trial-ready operations across Centers of Excellence, including site identification, qualification, activation, and operational support • Coordinate with CROs and biotech/pharma sponsors on trial design and execution • Manage two Research Coordinators, biostatistics and regulatory consultants, and the Senior Director, Research Programs & Grants Management • Build the clinical-trial team over time as membership revenue supports • Own commercial positioning and management of the patient registry • Govern member access to registry data, biospecimens, and the clinical-trial app while respecting patient-data protections • Collaborate with the COO on contracts, SOWs, invoicing, payment schedules, and conference/event logistics • Ensure accurate operational and financial reporting for the therapeutics function • Ensure compliance with anti-kickback and OIG guidance, IRS rules, debarment/exclusion screening, confidentiality obligations, and research/IRB standards • Represent Cure HHT as the operational and commercial lead for therapeutic partnerships and regulatory advocacy

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline required • 10+ years of relevant experience in pharma, biotech, and/or CRO clinical-research operations • Demonstrated success owning commercial or partnership relationships with pharma/biotech sponsors • CRO oversight and clinical-trial operations experience • Strong leadership and people-management skills, with a track record of building and managing teams and cross-functional consultants • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple high-stakes priorities and member relationships simultaneously • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to travel as necessary (~30%) • Preferred: Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MPH, or MBA) • Preferred: Working knowledge of nonprofit/for-profit sponsorship compliance (anti-kickback, OIG, tax-exempt rules) • Preferred: Experience in rare-disease or vascular-disease settings • Preferred: Experience working with CRO partners and principal investigators at trial sites • Preferred: Experience with consortium or clinical-network management
