📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical data, including CCD data • Build the clinical data feature store with standards, documentation, and best practices • Develop validated and reusable data assets such as tables, views, and features • Create and maintain data dictionaries, lineage, business logic, limitations, and use guidelines • Build queries, dashboards, and data visualizations for data quality metrics, data availability, and clinical insights • Translate clinical concepts into analytical frameworks • Support analysts, data scientists, and business partners using clinical data • Collaborate with data engineering teams on clinical data pipeline development • Learn and apply data governance practices, HIPAA compliance, privacy regulations, and internal stewardship policies • Maintain awareness of clinical data standards including HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, SNOMED-CT, LOINC, CPT, NDC, and RxNorm

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in clinical informatics, healthcare analytics, or clinical data management • Familiarity with clinical data types and structures, including CCD data, lab results, clinical notes, and administrative healthcare data • Knowledge of clinical coding systems and terminologies, including ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, SNOMED-CT, LOINC, NDC, and RxNorm • Ability to support downstream data consumers through documentation, training, and consultative support • Proficiency with SQL and large-scale healthcare datasets • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform tools including BigQuery • Understanding of data quality principles, including validation, profiling, and monitoring of healthcare data • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Public Health, Nursing, Health Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative or clinical field—or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience • Preferred: healthcare data platform experience and interoperability standards such as OMOP, CCDA, and FHIR • Preferred: familiarity with clinical workflows and HIEs • Preferred: experience with standardized clinical code systems and common data models such as OMOP • Preferred: ETL design and implementation from heterogeneous clinical sources • Preferred: data quality framework experience with tools such as Achilles or DQDB • Preferred: HIPAA/HITRUST, de-identification/tokenization, PHI handling, and data access controls experience
