📋 Description

• Lead the data science and analytics strategy for underwriting transformation software products from problem framing through production deployment • Design and operationalize predictive and scenario-based analytics supporting underwriting, pricing, and risk decisions • Apply time-series, advanced regression, tree-based modeling, forecasting, machine learning, and statistical modeling • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to embed analytics and reporting into core product workflows • Define, track, and report product, operational, and business metrics and OKRs • Establish scalable reporting frameworks and dashboards • Deliver executive-ready insights describing progress, risks, and tradeoffs • Explore emerging technologies, including AI-enabled reporting layers • Facilitate communication across Product, Engineering, Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial, and Executive teams • Translate complex analytical insights into actionable narratives • Lead, coach, and develop an organization of decision scientists, analysts, and validation professionals • Define team vision, strategy, goals, priorities, and OKRs • Manage resource planning, workload prioritization, and organizational growth • Provide executive-level communication, reporting, and strategic recommendations

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in analytics, decision science, business intelligence, financial analysis, quality assurance, or data validation • 5+ years of experience leading large analytical teams and developing people leaders • Expertise in analytical validation, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, business impact assessment, and financial validation • Ability to analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data • Experience developing self-service reporting solutions and communicating insights from reports and dashboards • Experience validating business outcomes and financial results using large-scale datasets • Advanced SQL and data analysis skills • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills • Preferred: PBM, Healthcare, Underwriting, Pricing, Forecasting, Actuarial, or Financial Analytics experience • Preferred: Experience validating underwriting, forecasting, pricing, or P&L platforms • Preferred: Experience with Databricks, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or similar analytics platforms • Preferred: Experience leading through managers and driving accountability across multi-level data science teams
