📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, caregivers, referral sources, and branch locations regarding nutrition therapy orders and account inquiries • Process monthly patient refill requests received through digital channels and inbound phone calls • Review and verify patient demographics, insurance information, and order documentation to ensure accurate and timely shipment of supplies • Update electronic patient records and maintain accurate account information • Answer incoming calls, provide order status updates, and route inquiries to appropriate departments when needed • Assist patients with refill requests, payment processing, and general account-related questions • Investigate and resolve routine patient concerns while escalating complex issues to appropriate clinical or management staff • Review patient accounts for outstanding balances and assist with payment collection activities as directed • Receive and process credit card and other payment transactions accurately • Support team members during high-volume periods and complex patient service situations • Ensure a positive patient experience through professional, compassionate, and efficient service

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent • Minimum of one year of customer service experience • Minimum of one year of experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, home infusion, enteral nutrition, durable medical equipment (DME), or related healthcare support services preferred • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) or healthcare documentation systems preferred • Prior call center or patient support experience preferred
