📋 Description

• Act as a business partner with various internal and external shareholders • Provide data and analysis supporting the unit’s healthcare mission • Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, regulatory reports, and financial packages • Create and modify SQL code and scripts to deliver accurate, actionable insights from complex data • Manage and validate data from multiple sources using SQL Server Management Studio • Communicate processes and requirements to business and technical staff • Use SQL to identify and analyze trends, enabling leadership to act on trends and outliers • Prepare complex ad hoc reports using SQL and Excel and create new reports as needed • Streamline processes and identify cost and time savings opportunities • Ensure premium accuracy through reconciliation reporting • Represent the finance team in plan/provider meetings as needed • Understand and articulate business drivers and market trends • Assist project teams as a subject matter expert

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with SQL or other database query languages (Intermediate to Advanced), and/or 3+ years of experience with financial planning and analysis • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced) • Hands-on experience with generative AI to improve productivity, automate routine tasks, and enhance decision-making • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization and escalation of issues when appropriate • Must be located in the US • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • Preferred degrees in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Math, Data Science, Computer Science, or related disciplines • Sponsorship is unavailable for this remote role
