📋 Description

• Provide technical direction and evaluate solution design quality for SAP Retail BW reporting, reconciliation platforms, and full-stack applications • Lead delivery of scalable, resilient solutions aligned with business, operational, audit, and enterprise architecture needs • Monitor and optimize application, reporting, database, and data pipeline performance in high-volume transaction environments • Recruit, manage, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team • Collaborate with engineering, platform, design, security, and audit teams • Identify, communicate, and mitigate internal and external risks • Communicate progress, challenges, opportunities, and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development, analytics, and AI best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of IT experience focused on engineering, software architecture, and development • 7+ years supporting or providing technical oversight for SAP BW reporting solutions • Familiarity with Advanced DataStore Objects, CompositeProviders, transformations, DTPs, Process Chains, BW queries, data load monitoring, and source-to-target validation • 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery reporting • Experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable reporting solutions • 5+ years of experience with SQL and database performance tuning • Experience with query optimization, indexing/partitioning strategies, execution plan analysis, and performance troubleshooting • Experience leading or supporting mission-critical reporting, reconciliation, or transaction processing platforms handling millions of records or transactions per day • Accountability for scalability, reliability, operational controls, and production support • 5+ years recruiting, managing, and retaining a high-performing software development team in an agile environment • 3+ years using generative AI as an integrated component in software solutions • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required • Ability to diagram complex software architectures and communicate complex engineering ideas to non-technical stakeholders • Experience with React, API Platform, and full-cycle development from strategy to execution • Understanding of cloud-based technologies, engineering frameworks, and tools • Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud DevOps, containers such as Kubernetes/Docker, and GCP managed services
