📋 Description

• Participate in a transformative three-week virtual externship introducing insurance and underwriting fundamentals • Learn underwriting, risk analysis, and pricing strategies • Engage in interactive virtual training sessions led by industry experts • Analyze real-world case studies with peers • Make underwriting decisions and present recommendations • Explore insurance industry career paths • Receive mentorship from experienced professionals • Build foundational communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Network with company leaders, underwriters, and industry professionals • Potentially apply and interview for the 2028 Summer Corporate Underwriting Internship Program

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with sophomore standing • Graduation date between 12/2028 and 5/2029 • Access to a computer with reliable internet connection for virtual sessions • Available for all externship dates • Resume required with application • Preferred majors: Risk Management/Insurance, Math, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, and related majors • Preferred strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Preferred excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Preferred curiosity about the insurance industry and eagerness to learn about underwriting and risk analysis
