📋 Description

• Provide technical support to company-owned and independent distributors, servicers, dealers, and in-house 800 Service Support Specialists • Coordinate resolutions and corrective actions for field product quality issues • Conduct or participate in customer quality reviews and field investigations • Troubleshoot installation, quality, and service-related problems by phone • Review service manuals, service letters, kit instructions, training materials, and technical communications • Maintain the Product Quality Report database and prepare, interpret, and communicate reports • Monitor and approve transition schedules, ECNs, ECRs, deviations, and PCNs • Participate in product development, assembly-line issue resolution, product-return reviews, and service design reviews • Serve as primary technical contact for distributor service managers and provide escalated support • Attend DFMEA, PFMEA, and DQIP meetings and provide service input • Develop and deliver training materials for technical trainers and 800 Service Support Specialists • Represent the department in product development, production, quality, and transition meetings • Work with technical writers and service engineers on manuals, communications, parts standardization, substitutions, and obsolescence • Assist with service or rework campaigns and review Special Labor Allowances • Provide direction to Level 1 Product Specialists • Track, analyze, and communicate service performance throughout the product lifecycle • Create service bulletins, repair instructions, and related communications • Manage project shipping data, reporting databases, customer communications, and rework reports • Support Homeowner Support representatives and warranty processing • Travel to jobsites, field locations, training programs, shows, distributor meetings, and customer quality reviews with manager approval where specified • Perform additional projects and duties supporting business needs

🎯 Requirements

• 15 Plus years in the HVAC Industry, with installation, service, and commissioning experience • 5 Years min as Daikin Reginal Technical Manager (RTM) • 2 years min as a Daikin Product Specialist 1 • Associate degree in HVAC or related field experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams • Critical thinking, problem solving, inductive and deductive reasoning, analysis, and interpretation • Ability to work effectively with engineering, quality, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and other departments • Ability to work effectively with customers to resolve service or quality issues • Strong communication and collaboration abilities • Good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity • Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States • Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
