📋 Description

• Author, edit, format, and publish new and existing technical documents for the manufacturing process • Ask thoughtful questions to understand products and processes • Seek and incorporate feedback from reviewers and stakeholders • Communicate with engineers, project managers, and supervisors • Continuously learn about Daktronics products and technologies • Manage multiple documentation projects and meet established deadlines • Identify opportunities to improve documentation quality and consistency • Transform technical information into clear, user-friendly instructions

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in English for Information Systems, Technical Communications, English, or Mass Communications • Preferred: student registered in at least 12 credits • Preferred: sophomore or junior year of school • Strong academic performance and acceptable GPA • Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application • Submit three writing samples, such as manuals, research papers, or newspaper articles • Good oral and written communication skills • Good organizational skills and self-motivation • Comfortable learning new documentation, content management, illustration, and authoring tools • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Fluent in English, both written and verbal • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older • Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. • Daktronics does not sponsor, renew, or extend immigration visas for this position
