📋 Description

• Nursing Manager performs management functions for the assigned units. • Responsible for monitoring performance of staff and patient care activities. • Collaborates with health care team to ensure quality patient care. • Develops and implements policies and procedures for services. • Monitors and evaluates delivery of patient care and tasks. • Selects applicants for employment and conducts interviews. • Maintains safety, cleanliness, and comfort for patients and staff.

🎯 Requirements

• License/Certification: Current Virginia RN license at time of hire. • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, & Fetal Monitoring is required. • Five (5) years of previous nursing experience in Obstetrics, Labor/Delivery, and Nursery care settings. • Supervisory experience is strongly preferred. • BSN is strongly preferred. • Ability to perform research for policy revision and development. • Possess skills to perform staff instruction on policies and patient care procedures.
