📋 Description

• Drive sales in accounts across the South of the UK • Drive complex hospital sales from introduction of screening and diagnostic concepts through closure and implementation • Work with physicians, laboratory, infection control, Quality Assurance and executive staff to identify needs, gain consensus and close assay and instrumentation business • Manage and grow business in new and existing Cepheid accounts • Expand menu utilization and develop demand for new assays and instrumentation in laboratory and point-of-care settings • Negotiate and manage contracts, including Managed Service Contracts • Introduce new testing concepts and products • Use Salesforce CRM to manage customer and account data • Travel extensively across the UK and occasionally internationally

🎯 Requirements

• Strong track record of sales success, specifically in selling premium product • Expertise with demand creation and multi-departmental hospital sales • Strengths in networking and relationship development • Experience managing stakeholders throughout the UK healthcare hierarchy, including lab technicians, lab managers, clinicians, hospital administration, purchasing and government officials • Educated to degree level, preferably in biological or health-related subjects • Up to 90% travel in the UK with occasional inter-Europe and international travel • Must spend the majority of time in the South UK region • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Previous experience in molecular/PCR diagnostics is a plus • Experience with the customer base within the territory is a plus • Pre-existing relationships within the territory are advantageous
