📋 Description

• Own prepaid, accrued expense and opex schedules, including professional fees, software and contractor spend • Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly and annual close, with support for estimates, allocations and accruals • Book intercompany entries and support consolidation across US and international entities • Work with Tax on quarterly transfer pricing entries • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve differences before close • Prepare flux analysis and explain monthly results to the Assistant Controller and FP&A • Trace coding errors to source systems such as payroll, purchasing and billing, and work with system owners to fix them upstream • Document processes, accounting policies and controls to support the annual audit • Prepare audit support schedules and respond to auditor requests • Automate manual close steps in NetSuite and related systems • Report to the Assistant Controller and partner with Operations, Procurement, People and FP&A

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field • 3+ years as a Senior Accountant, or 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Experience in an operational business: manufacturing, distribution, healthcare services, logistics or multi-site operations • Strong grasp of US GAAP, accruals, reconciliations and internal controls • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large data sets • A track record of fixing root causes in upstream processes • Clear, concise communication with accountants and non-accountants • Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-through on tight deadlines • Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions • CPA or CPA candidate is a bonus • Experience with inventory, cost or manufacturing accounting is a bonus • Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting is a bonus • NetSuite experience is a bonus • Public accounting or audit experience is a bonus • Experience with BI tools such as Looker is a bonus • Authorization to work lawfully in the United States
