📋 Description

• Evaluate medical records • Prepare concise clinical summaries • Provide independent medical opinions in response to specific questions posed by clients • Conduct evidence-based clinical assessments • Prepare clear, comprehensive written reports • Participate in peer-to-peer discussions when necessary • Answer client-specific questions regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation services, and functional outcomes • Apply current clinical guidelines and standards of care to all reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) • Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation • Current, unrestricted Michigan medical license • Active clinical practice or recent experience in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation • Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience • Experience evaluating musculoskeletal, rehabilitation, pain management, and functional impairment cases preferred • Ability to attend required orientation and training sessions • Maintain all applicable licensure, certifications, credentialing, and professional requirements necessary to perform reviewer services
