📋 Description

• Process release-of-information requests for patient health information according to company and facility policies • Maintain confidentiality, security, and HIPAA compliance for privileged patient information • Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software • Adhere to company and customer facility codes of conduct and policies • Inform the manager of work, site difficulties, and fluctuating volumes • Manage patient health records and safeguard against unauthorized disclosure • Prepare new patient charts using paper sources and electronic health records • Assemble medical records accurately and completely in standard order • Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records • Retrieve and appropriately transmit patient records to internal and external requesters • Answer inbound and outbound calls and provide medical-record status updates • Assist with patient walk-ins and administrative duties such as faxes, mail, and data entry • Meet site-specific productivity expectations • Schedule pickups as needed • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Must be at least 18 years old • Ability to commute between locations as needed • Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required • Basic computer proficiency • Comfortable utilizing phones, fax machine, printers, and other general office equipment on a regular basis • Professional verbal and written communication skills in the English language • This job is not eligible for employment sponsorship
