📋 Description

• Receive and process requests for patient health information according to company and facility policies • Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information • Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software • Inform the manager of work, site difficulties, and fluctuating volumes • Manage patient health records and safeguard them in compliance with HIPAA standards • Prepare new patient charts using paper and electronic health record sources • Assemble medical records in standard order and ensure accuracy and completeness • Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records • Retrieve and appropriately transmit patient records to internal and external requesters • Answer inbound and outbound calls • Assist with patient walk-ins and administrative duties, including faxes, mail, and data entry • Meet site-specific productivity expectations • Schedule pickups as needed • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Ability to commute between locations as needed • Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required • Basic computer proficiency • Comfortable utilizing phones, fax machines, printers, and other general office equipment • Professional verbal and written communication skills in the English language • Strong data entry skills • Ability to work with minimum supervision and respond to changing priorities • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks • Ability to respond to requests in a fast-paced environment • This job is not eligible for employment sponsorship
