📋 Description

• Process all release of information (ROI), specifically medical record requests, accurately and efficiently while providing high-quality customer service • Safeguard patient privacy and ensure releases comply with authorizations, company policy, and HIPAA regulations • Receive and process requests for patient health information according to company and facility policies • Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information • Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software • Adhere to company and customer-facility codes of conduct and policies • Inform the manager about work, site difficulties, and fluctuating volumes • Manage patient health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards • Prepare new patient charts using paper and electronic health record sources • Assemble accurate and complete medical records in standard order • Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records • Retrieve and appropriately transmit requested patient records • Answer inbound and outbound calls and provide medical record status • Assist with patient walk-ins and administrative duties such as faxes, mail, and data entry • Meet site-specific productivity expectations • Schedule pick-ups and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Ability to commute between locations as needed • Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required • Basic computer proficiency • Comfortable using phones, fax machines, printers, and general office equipment regularly • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English • Detail and quality oriented regarding accurate and compliant medical-record information • Strong data entry skills • Ability to work with minimum supervision and respond to changing priorities • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks • Ability to respond to requests in a fast-paced environment • Full-time availability Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm EST • Experience in a healthcare environment, production/metric-based work, or in-person customer service is a bonus, not required
