đź“‹ Description

• Process release of information and medical record requests accurately and efficiently • Receive and process patient health information requests according to company and facility policies • Maintain confidentiality, security, and compliance with HIPAA and medical privacy regulations • Manage, safeguard, assemble, and maintain patient health records • Prepare new patient charts using paper and electronic health record sources • Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records • Retrieve and transmit patient records to internal and external requesters • Answer inbound and outbound calls • Assist with patient walk-ins and administrative duties, including faxes, mail, data entry, and pickup scheduling • Maintain knowledge of company and facility software • Inform the manager of work, site difficulties, and fluctuating volumes • Meet site-specific productivity expectations and perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED • Ability to commute between locations as needed • Ability to work overtime during peak seasons when required • Basic computer proficiency • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel • Comfort using phones, fax machines, printers, and other general office equipment • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English • Strong data entry skills • Detail- and quality-oriented approach to accurate, compliant medical-record information • Ability to work with minimum supervision and changing priorities • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks • Ability to respond to requests in a fast-paced environment • No employment sponsorship available • Post-offer health screenings and required or completed vaccinations may be required by clients • Preferred: healthcare environment experience, production/metric-based work experience, in-person customer service experience, relationship-building with onsite clients, and process-improvement suggestions
