📋 Description

• Work Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm • Receive and process requests for patient health information according to company and facility policies • Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information • Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software • Adhere to company and customer facility codes of conduct and policies • Inform manager of work, site difficulties, and fluctuating volumes • Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as required • Apply medical privacy regulations consistently to prevent unauthorized disclosure • Manage and safeguard patient health records and ensure HIPAA compliance • Prepare new patient charts using paper and electronic health record sources • Assemble medical records in standard order and ensure accuracy and completeness • Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records • Retrieve and appropriately transmit patient records in response to internal and external requests • Answer inbound and outbound calls • Assist with patient walk-ins • Handle faxes, open mail, and perform data entry • Meet site-specific productivity expectations • Schedule pick-ups as needed • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • Must be at least 18 years old • Ability to commute between locations as needed • Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required • Basic computer proficiency • Comfortable utilizing phones, fax machine, printers, and other general office equipment regularly • Professional verbal and written communication skills in the English language • This job is not eligible for employment sponsorship • Experience in a healthcare environment (bonus point) • Previous production/metric-based work experience (bonus point) • In-person customer service experience (bonus point) • Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers (bonus point) • Comfortable bringing new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders (bonus point)
