📋 Description
• Provide paralegal support to attorneys and the Eviction Department. • Prepare, serve, and monitor legal notices. • Prepare, file, and serve summons and complaints. • Monitor cases. • Monitor hearing schedules. • Communicate with clients regarding litigation matters via email and phone. • Manage and update client case management systems. • Verify property addresses using foreclosure documents. • Review leases and ledgers, and prepare rent demands. • Handle incoming phone calls from defendants, clients, court clerks, and sheriffs.
🎯 Requirements
• High School Diploma. • Legal experience preferred, but not required. • Ability to communicate professionally with clerks, judges, and attorneys. • Must understand/learn eviction law and local jurisdictional requirements.
