📋 Description

• Support DCS Asset Maintenance’s growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for bids and proposals • Gather information from sites, suppliers, subcontractors, and operators • Work with operators and perform advanced analyses • Present options to leadership for decisions • Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting business model and project requirements • Determine key variables for cost and other estimates • Conduct research on labor costs, materials, production times, and related data • Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and budgeting • Obtain and review subcontractor and vendor offers and quotes • Perform detailed risk analysis • Create and submit estimate reports and/or bids to project managers and company leadership • Build relationships with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers • Present bids to company leadership at gate reviews

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position • Experience with highway or structures asset maintenance is a plus • In depth knowledge of financial and project management principles • In depth knowledge and experience of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas • Proven advanced math and IT ability with an advanced analytical mindset • Expert level proficiency in relevant software (Excel, Power BI, etc.) • Understanding of the proper use and application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) • Outstanding and proven communication and negotiation abilities • High level of integrity with the ability to be trusted with sensitive and confidential company information • Ability to produce work product that is thorough, reliable, and executable • Excellent organizational skills • Ability to be self directed, bring solutions and respond accordingly to constructive feedback • Must be able to work non-standard hours during heavy periods of activity • Ability to present to executives • Candidates may be subject to criminal background checks, pre-employment, post-accident and reasonable impairment drug screenings, and motor vehicle record checks
