📋 Description

• Own customer and prospect privacy risk assessments, DPIAs, and transfer impact assessments end to end • Serve as the technical voice in customer privacy reviews and vendor due diligence calls • Build and maintain data flow maps and records of processing across hosted, dedicated, and self-hosted deployments • Own retention, deletion, DSAR, consent, opt-out, de-identification, and redaction control operations • Own subprocessor and vendor privacy reviews and DPA artifacts • Translate GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, US state privacy laws, and emerging AI regulation into actionable requirements • Partner with Legal on DPAs, SCCs, transfer mechanisms, and residency commitments • Own audit evidence for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS and act as primary auditor contact • Maintain cross-framework control mappings and evidence crosswalks • Own security questionnaires and security sections of RFPs • Partner with Security Engineering to automate and reuse evidence • Author and manage internal policies and standards through their lifecycle • Own Trust Center content, AI Safety statements, Model Cards, Privacy Policy content, and deployment/self-hosted documentation • Own document versioning, review processes, and traceability to internal sources of truth • Design operational auditing and remediation workflows • Run compliance and privacy training and enablement for Sales Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial experience in privacy operations, GRC, security compliance, or technical compliance documentation • Experience carrying privacy assessments or an audit cycle end to end and owning the outcome • Exceptional technical and compliance writing ability • Experience owning compliance operational systems at scale, such as data maps, DSAR workflows, evidence collection, answer libraries, policy sets, or related tooling • Hands-on involvement in at least one formal SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS audit as the person producing and defending evidence • Practical, applied experience with GDPR and CCPA/CPRA • Current understanding of emerging AI regulation • Ability to read architecture diagrams, follow cloud-infrastructure data flows, understand logs and retention settings, and identify compliance gaps • Ability to work directly with Fortune 500 privacy teams, security reviewers, and DPOs • Startup-friendly judgment and comfort making defensible decisions amid ambiguity • Bias toward building systems and templates • Certification such as CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor is nice to have • Experience with Vanta, Drata, or similar compliance automation and trust center tooling is nice to have • Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and EU AI Act is nice to have • Experience with ML/AI data pipelines and training-data governance is nice to have • Comfort with SQL, light scripting, or AI and agentic tooling is nice to have • Exposure to HIPAA or FedRAMP is nice to have
