πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Provide a variety of process safety assessments, reviews, or evaluations for equipment, processes, or procedures β€’ Perform process safety assessments and evaluations to OSHA and PSM standards β€’ Review and apply best practices and code requirements from various standards and regulations (NFPA, Building & Fire Codes, OSHA, FM Global) β€’ Communicate with clients and consulting team in a timely, effective, and continuous manner β€’ Follow-up on new opportunities and prepare quotations for prospective clients β€’ Perform on team projects and independently on projects or tasks β€’ Develop technical reports as required β€’ Perform technical reviews for peers which could include marketing papers, presentations, reports, etc. β€’ Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ BS (or Higher) in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Fire Protection) or safety-related field β€’ EIT or Safety-related designation preferred (CSP, CFEI, CCPSC, PE, etc.) β€’ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of process safety β€’ Experience with Combustible Dust, Flammable, and/or other Hazardous Materials preferred β€’ Strong knowledge of safety-related areas (PSM, RMP, combustible dust, chemical reaction hazards, flammable liquids/gases) β€’ Strong knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations (NFPA, Building & Fire Codes, OSHA) β€’ Must be able to work well under pressure within a team environment β€’ Must deliver reports and analysis documents within time-driven deadlines.
