• Installation and calibration of measurement devices to ensure accuracy. • Mapping the seabed, measuring water depths (bathymetry), and providing precise positioning for construction, such as oil rigs or wind farms. • Measuring actual dredging volumes. • Process and interpreting measurement results using cutting edge techniques. • Mapping the results using specific software. • Reporting the progress of the works to the project management team.
• A qualified engineer, hydrographer or topographer, by preference with a specialization in survey. • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience as hydrographic surveyor. • Practical knowledge of modern measurement techniques and familiar with autocad, Qinsy or similar software. • An exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality standards and safety protocols. • Flexibility to work in a rotational system (2:1 for dredging activities or 1:1 for offshore activities) across global locations.
