📋 Description

• Under general supervision, the Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) provides integrated behavioral health as a key member of the care team in various settings. • Services will be provided in an Ambulatory Care Services (ACS) clinic or a school-based center with a focus on therapeutic interventions across the lifespan. • Provides high quality clinical services to referred individuals, including short-term evidence-based interventions, support services, and collaboration with other teams as needed. • Conducts brief diagnostic screening of patients using evidence-based assessments and screening tools. • Provides health behavior change interventions using Motivational Interviewing. • Consult with providers as part of the interdisciplinary team and generate recommendations, referrals, and case management as needed. • Conduct safety and risk assessments as needed. • Generate documentation of assessment and intervention in the medical record in a timely manner. • Provide education, treatment, and referrals to family members as appropriate. • Participates in clinical education of healthcare students as seen fit by the supervising medical staff.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's Degree from a certified Master’s program in psychology, counseling, social work, or other related human services degree. • 1-3 years of clinical experience post master’s degree • LPC-Licensed Professional Counselor - LPC State Licensing Board Required or LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker - LCSW State Licensing Board Required • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association or American Red Cross Required • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word.
