📋 Description

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and analyze Eos commercial BESS and third-party products in the field and remotely • Conduct site visits and provide remote customer support via email, telephone, and remote support tools • Use Field Service and Work Order Management tools to retrieve and update information accurately and promptly • Write reports, train customers, and respond to concerns about system functionality and performance • Develop detailed knowledge of Eos commercial products and third-party products • Perform acceptance and performance testing, troubleshooting, installation, startups, shutdowns, commissioning, and turnarounds of BESS • Work with high-voltage DC electricity, three-phase power, and relevant BESS and third-party software • Serve as site lead when needed and provide leadership and guidance to field service technicians and third-party contractors • Report daily site activities, equipment status, troubleshooting efforts, and performance output to engineers and managers • Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • A minimum of three (3) years of field experience in Electrical/Electronics/Power electronics and/or network communications is recommended • Trade or vocational college focusing on electrical work/renewable energy/electronics preferred • Prior experience in the renewable industry, preferably energy storage, is strongly preferred • Experience in applied problem-solving methodology • Electrical safety training, NFPA70E or similar • Medium Voltage/Substation experience is a plus • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision and collaborate with Field Service Engineers • Solid computer skills: Windows, Office; programming/PLC and controls experience a plus • Awareness of electrical, crane, forklift and construction work safety • Understanding of DC electrical systems and controls • Knowledge of electrical voltage meters and electrical testing equipment • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code • Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work at field installations up to 100% of working time for up to three weeks at a time • Ability to work at great heights and in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitive duties, and frequently lift at least 50 pounds
