📋 Description

• Teach assigned courses and programs in accordance with DeVry University requirements • Facilitate student learning for undergraduate and graduate students • Develop approved course syllabi and lesson plans • Organize, prepare, regularly revise, and update course materials • Use online technologies and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions • Model effective oral and written communication • Publish course objectives, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation weightings • Ensure exam content aligns with course objectives • Prepare and grade exams consistently and fairly • Provide timely feedback to students • Integrate responsible AI technologies into teaching and learning • Recognize, evaluate, and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools • Complete other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in health information management, public health, or healthcare-related field from regionally accredited institution • Current Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) or Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification required • Minimum 5 years managing cancer registry operations, including case finding, abstracting, and follow-up • Expertise in AJCC/TNM staging, SEER Summary Staging, and collaborative staging systems • Experience with cancer registry software platforms and NAACCR data standards • Working knowledge of NCRA or CAHIIM accreditation standards and quality control procedures • Understanding of cancer surveillance reporting to state and national databases • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings • Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices
