• Develops and provides students with an approved syllabus • Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises all course materials • Uses appropriate technological options for online technologies • Models effective oral and written communications • Sets clear expectations for the course • Ensures content and level of material on exams correspond to course objectives • Demonstrates consistency and fairness in preparing and grading exams • Completes other duties as assigned.
🎯 Requirements
• Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field • Outpatient coding experience is required • Current industry-related certifications (CCS) • Minimum of 5 years working knowledge of healthcare operations • Minimum of five years recent in-field outpatient coding experience • Electronic health/medical records knowledge • IT systems and functions within healthcare knowledge • Health insurance and reimbursement knowledge • Health privacy and ethics knowledge • Reimbursement methodologies and billing functions knowledge • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings • Commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.
