📋 Description

• Install and repair water lines using PEX cutters, drills, screwdrivers, and crimping tools • Install, repair, and replace fixtures and appliances, including showers, toilets, urinals, sinks, hot water tanks, kitchen equipment, washers/dryers, dishwashers, furnaces, and air conditioning units • Use forklifts, floor jacks, or dollies to move larger fixtures and appliances into buildings • Operate torches, crimpers, drills, hand tools, pipe benders, manometers, threading machines, grinders, metal snips, and shears • Use ABS/PVC glue, pipe dope, flux, and paint for sealing and appliance installation • Work in accordance with the Gas Code and Plumbing Code • Pull gas permits as required • Load, unload, and move materials to work areas • Maintain site equipment and ensure equipment is in good repair • Liaise with the Area Superintendent and Maintenance Planner regarding maintenance issues and paperwork • Maintain facility curb appeal, including highway signage • Clean and maintain interior and exterior facility areas, tools, equipment, and work sites • Manage time and meet deadlines • Interact with other departments to ensure proper functioning of site systems • Comply with safety policies and procedures and wear required PPE • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described

🎯 Requirements

• Valid drivers License • Education background normally equivalent to high school • Journeyman Certificate in Plumbing • Gas Fitter Technician certification • 5 years of plumbing experience • Knowledge of applicable industry and company codes, standards, regulations, and procedures • Ability to operate all hand and power tools required for the trade • Ability to demonstrate organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills • Ability to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines • Ability to work individually and as a team member • Ability to safely and comfortably carry out physical duties • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to the health and safety of self and co-workers • Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test • Must comply with company safety policies and procedures and wear required personal protective equipment during work hours
