📋 Description

• Install and repair water lines using hand tools and crimping tools • Install, repair, and replace fixtures and appliances, including showers, toilets, urinals, sinks, hot water tanks, kitchen equipment, washers/dryers, dishwashers, furnaces, and air conditioning units • Use forklifts, floor jacks, or dollies to move larger fixtures and appliances • Use torches, crimpers, drills, hand tools, pipe benders, manometers, threading machines, die heads, grinders, metal snips, and shears • Use glues and sealing materials for appliance installation • Work in accordance with the Gas Code and Plumbing Code • Pull gas permits as required • Load, unload, and move materials to work areas • Maintain site equipment and ensure equipment is in good repair • Liaise with the Area Superintendent and Maintenance Planner regarding maintenance issues • Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly • Maintain facility curb appeal, including highway signage • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping inside and outside facilities • Clean and store tools and equipment and clean work sites • Manage time and meet deadlines • Interact with other departments to ensure proper functioning of site systems • Perform other related duties incidental to the work

🎯 Requirements

• Valid driver's License • Education background normally equivalent to high school • Journeyman Certificate in Plumbing • Gas Fitter Technician certification • 5 years of plumbing experience • Knowledge of applicable industry and company codes, standards, regulations, and procedures • Able to operate all hand and power tools required to perform trade-specific tasks • Able to demonstrate organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills • Able to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines • Able to work individually and as a team member • Able to safely and comfortably carry out physical duties • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to health and safety of self and co-workers • Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test • Must comply with company safety policies and procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment during work hours
