📋 Description

• Pre-collect for diagnostic procedures and self-pay patients • Verify out-of-pocket expenses • Contact patients to obtain payment before the service date • Verify insurance eligibility and out-of-pocket expenses • Process patient payments • Post patient payments in the appropriate EMR • Report monthly volumes of collected payments • Assist the RCM team with process improvement and streamlining collections-based processes • Perform special assignments or other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in collection or customer service preferred but not required • Strong customer service and communication skills • Well-developed organizational skills • Basic office operations knowledge • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment • Constant communication skills • Proficient computer skills • Accurate data entry in Microsoft Excel • Documentation and communication through Microsoft Outlook • Must reside in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Texas, Tennessee, West Virginia, Indiana, Georgia, Florida, or Ohio • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
