📋 Description

• Design and implement game modes, missions, quests, events, and AI • Collaborate with designers, level designers, programmers, and other departments to iterate on features and bring them to a shippable state • Maintain content after it ships • Assist designers with reproducing and fixing bugs • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill scripting needs • Be willing and available for firefighting • Contribute to a positive work environment through cross-department involvement and regular team interaction • Mentor Junior Technical Designers on scripting best practices and the Evolution Engine • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in game design/development • A university or college degree in computer science, game design/development, or equivalent game development experience • Strong proficiency in Lua or similar scripting language • Basic knowledge of C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio • Good communication and problem solving skills • Familiarity with a commercial game engine such as Unity or Unreal is preferred • Experience working on projects with live service production schedules is preferred • Experience with multiplayer/networked games is preferred
