📋 Description

• Analyze the drivers of California property tax values • Conduct deep financial analysis of pending tax legislation impacting customers and/or DIRECTV • Create SQL reports from Snowflake • Work on internal tax processes and software • Provide input and support for cross-functional initiatives focused on customer- and company-paid taxes • Apply education and skills to real-world tax work with immediate impact • Present and communicate with leaders • Document processes from ideation to deliverable

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance • Passion for numbers and data with demonstrated experience in data analytics and visualization • Comfortable presenting and speaking with leaders • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint • Power BI • Data storytelling and ability to synthesize insights from data • Process documentation from ideation to deliverable • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience in virtual, cross-functional collaboration • Well-organized and able to prioritize • Self-motivated and able to hold oneself accountable to tasks in a virtual environment • Must have full U.S. work authorization now and in the future
