📋 Description

• Perform fusion splicing on OSP fiber optic networks • Complete ribbon fiber and loose tube splicing • Conduct fiber testing and troubleshooting using OTDR, power meters, and light source equipment • Read splice diagrams, cut sheets, and construction documentation • Work in both aerial and underground fiber environments • Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards • Document test results and project completion information • Support major OSP fiber deployment projects throughout the United States

🎯 Requirements

• Proven OSP Fiber Splicing experience • Fusion splicing experience beyond simple drop installations • Experience with ribbon and loose tube fiber • OTDR testing and troubleshooting experience • Experience working in aerial and underground fiber environments • Ability to read splice diagrams and cut sheets • Willingness to travel on a 3-4 week rotation • Strong attendance and reliability
