📋 Description

• Support the design of electronic security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection solutions • Develop system concepts, specifications, and requirements aligned to client needs and project scope • Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs), estimates, and supporting documentation for proposals and projects • Develop and support design deliverables including 30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC drawings • Provide technical coordination to support system architecture, installation, and integration activities • Research, evaluate, and recommend security technologies and product solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design, engineering, and project delivery • Support client engagement activities, including clarifying requirements and managing expectations • Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with design standards and requirements • Provide guidance to junior team members and support issue resolution across projects • Maintain knowledge of ESS technologies, industry trends, and best practices through ongoing training

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • Associates degree required and/or equivalent experience • Certifications or training with Milestone and Lenel preferred • 5+ years of experience in technical systems design • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Office 365 • Ability to obtain a government-issued Top Secret Clearance (US-based only) • Clear understanding of project phases including program, conceptual design, etc. • Strong understanding of construction processes, installation practices, and system integration
