📋 Description

• Lead strategic outreach through phone, email, and in-person channels to secure high-value, non-public commercial construction project intelligence • Explain the value of Dodge’s data network and project information sharing to sources • Demonstrate Dodge tools and data capabilities, including Dodge One • Cultivate relationships with key and hard-to-reach contractors, subcontractors, owners, architects, and public agencies • Conduct site visits, industry events, and association meetings to strengthen intelligence pipelines • Identify, evaluate, and develop new project sources within the assigned territory • Analyze and interpret construction documents, client communications, and project information • Translate validated project insights into Dodge systems • Manage and maintain project data using internal tools and systems • Investigate and resolve complex or ambiguous data discrepancies and document verification steps • Identify data quality trends and root causes, recommend solutions, and communicate insights to stakeholders • Identify territory-level trends, sourcing opportunities, and conversion rates and present strategic insights • Share insights on source behavior, project trends, and workflow challenges • Balance productivity, quality, and strategic priorities in a metrics-driven environment • Partner with Account Management and Customer Success teams on high-impact client inquiries • Develop, refine, and share best practices for outreach, source development, and intelligence collection

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be located in one of: Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Texas • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating advanced proficiency in outreach, data collection, and commercial construction industry knowledge • 5+ years of experience in outreach, research, customer engagement, or data operations roles • 5+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry • Deep knowledge of the construction ecosystem, including contractors, owners, architects, subcontractors, project lifecycle, and bid and award processes • Ability to analyze data, identify patterns and trends, diagnose issues, and implement solutions • Ability to analyze territory and source funnel data and conversion rates and present findings to leadership • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex findings • Ability to tailor value-proposition messaging and handle objections using consultative, value-selling techniques • Ability to independently conduct in-person engagement, including site visits, industry events, and association meetings • Ability to demonstrate Dodge tools and data capabilities, including Dodge One • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel • Ability to learn and apply Dodge tools and systems • Familiarity with construction project data, plan rooms, or bid management platforms preferred • Familiarity with assigned territory’s active markets and relevant industry relationships preferred • Strong understanding of commercial construction project phases, bid and award processes, and multi-stakeholder project structures preferred • Experience in a performance-driven environment preferred • Background check required after a conditional job offer
