📋 Description

• Build secure, privacy-focused applications for Android devices • Work on the Android Functional Team • Use Kotlin, Maestro, and Graphite • Work on related Android projects • Provide Privacy Pro support • Improve autofill • Develop Phishing & Malware Protection • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective UX solutions • Own projects end-to-end, from scoping and execution to postmortem

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive Android engineering background (7+ years) • Experience working on at least two large native Android applications • Solid experience programming in Kotlin • Deep understanding of MV concepts, mobile threading, and memory management as applied to mobile applications • Fundamental understanding of complex data structures and algorithms • Ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to develop effective UX solutions • Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional team • Excellent communication skills • Must attend meetings on camera via video conferencing • Average full-time commitment of 40 hours per week • Must pass a background check as a condition of joining • For US applicants, DuckDuckGo does not sponsor or assist with individual immigration needs • Non-US applicants must be legally authorized to work in their country of residence
