📋 Description

• Prepare air quality and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories, mitigation development, and reports for air quality and GHG impact analyses • Contribute to climate action plans, climate action and adaptation plans, and related plans • Prepare energy impact analyses • Prepare air dispersion modeling and health risk assessments (HRAs) following internal mentoring • Communicate complex analyses clearly to clients, the public, and decision makers • Work independently and participate in team brainstorming and mentoring through knowledge sharing • Manage multiple projects simultaneously • Communicate and work directly with clients and project managers • Apply scientific evidence and creative problem-solving approaches • Manage work time efficiently to meet deadlines • Conduct project site visits and outdoor activities as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Studies, Earth Science, Atmospheric Science/Meteorology, Engineering, or related field of study is required, or equivalent work experience or training in an environmental discipline • Existing experience with air quality and GHG emissions analyses and climate action planning preferred • Strong communication, writing, and problem-solving skills • Strong technical aptitude to learn analyses quickly • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team success • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check • U.S. work authorization required • Ability to work on a computer and sit or stand for long periods • Ability to attend in-person and virtual meetings and communicate by phone • Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment • Ability to walk/trek over uneven terrain and long distances in extreme weather conditions • Ability to work in outdoor project-site conditions involving excessive noise, uneven surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles, and equipment
