📋 Description

• Engage with clients via the EMR messaging system, providing support, education, and guidance on pets’ health and well-being • Manage refill approvals, prescription requests, asynchronous case reviews, and renewals • Verify and process prescriptions with partner pharmacies and ensure appropriate follow-up • Resolve pharmacy holds by completing approvals and communicating with doctors and clients • Monitor shared veterinary administrative communications and assist with daily doctor coverage • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, systems, and workflows • Participate in training, telehealth initiatives, compliance, and team development • Deliver empathetic, high-quality client care while following clinical protocols and adapting to each case • Continuously learn and improve skills in a fast-paced environment • Take on expanded responsibilities over time, including advanced clinical support and virtual care workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT, CVT, RVT) • 2–3+ years of clinical experience in small animal veterinary medicine; emergency or specialty experience is a plus • Comfortable using digital tools, including telehealth platforms, EMRs, and chat systems • Empathetic, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced, remote-first environment • Strong communication skills and ability to provide client education and collaborate with doctors and teammates • Ability to manage priorities and tasks effectively with minimal supervision • Professional home workspace with reliable internet (>100mb_down, >100mb_up, <10ms latency) • Comfort sitting or standing at a computer for extended periods • Consistent daytime Pacific Standard Time availability, including evenings and weekends • Preference for availability Sunday through Thursday • Willingness to accommodate occasional schedule adjustments based on business needs
