📋 Description

• Scale data governance across datasets, clients, and AI products • Define data quality standards and thresholds across loan-level and deal-level data • Partner with the Data Product Manager, Data Engineering, and Data Analysts to instrument quality monitoring • Report on data quality metrics and drive a measurable reduction in failures • Establish named ownership and stewardship for every data domain • Maintain current data-owner and steward decisions • Own the data dictionary and business definitions across the warehouse, product, and client-facing materials • Define and enforce data rights for client and third-party datasets within the platform • Track commitments, escalate blocked work, and close out governance initiatives • Collaborate with Data Operations, Product, Commercial, and Legal

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of expertise in data governance, data quality, or data management • Proven experience building data governance programs from the ground up • Meticulous and exceptionally organized • Able to review SQL, interpret data models, and partner with engineering teams on technical architecture • Hands-on governance and data quality experience using purpose-built tooling • Experience with BigQuery, dbt, and Unity Catalog, or platforms such as Collibra or Alation • Proven experience designing governance frameworks covering quality, lineage, metadata, and compliance for trustworthy AI data • Knowledge of ownership, stewardship, quality, lineage, metadata, classification, access, and master/reference data • Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act, and ISO 42001
