📋 Description

• Gather and analyze financial information, regulatory and litigation histories, and recent news from external corporate and governmental databases • Work with intake attorneys and reviewing attorneys to evaluate risk management issues related to new clients and matters • Work with litigation partners to assess financial viability of potential new matters • Run special searches concerning incoming lateral attorneys, potential mergers, and other special circumstances • Participate in special projects involving new business intake best practices and risk management initiatives within Information Governance • Assist the Conflicts team in assessing whether conflicts of interest exist under applicable Rules of Professional Conduct • Partner with QAC Paralegals to assist Claims Counsel and General Counsel with Litigation Holds, Subpoenas, Protective Orders, and Outside Counsel Guidelines intake • Perform other research and administrative tasks and support cross-departmental teams as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience compiling and analyzing risk assessment reports • Prior experience with corporate risk assessment research and analysis and/or investigative due diligence • Ability to analyze, cross-reference and summarize findings from third-party proprietary databases and public records • Bachelor's Degree • Understanding of KYC/AML requirements • Ability to read financial statements • Knowledge of and ability to analyze SEC filings • Familiarity with current trends in the legal and financial services industries • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail, analysis, proofreading and organizational skills • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong customer service skills • Ability to contribute ideas for process improvements • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines with expedited turnaround times • Experience with Microsoft Office • Familiarity with Intapp and data intake processing software • Advanced legal or business degree or KYC/AML compliance certification preferred
