📋 Description

• Transcribe court proceedings, trials, and depositions from audio recordings • Accurately identify speakers and capture all spoken content in strict verbatim format • Apply quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with court formatting rules • Demonstrate understanding of legal terminology, colloquy, and court-specific language • Manage 1–3 day turnaround times, allowing a minimum of 1 day per 1 hour of assigned audio • Meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience transcribing court proceedings, trials, and depositions with adherence to court formatting rules • Ability to distinguish and format Q&A and colloquy format • Knowledge of QA, colloquy, legal terminology, and court formatting rules • Competence using transcription software and Microsoft Office • Willingness to undergo a skills assessment test • Availability to transcribe a minimum of 1.5–2 audio hours per day • Windows 10 or 11 • Office 365 • For the Record transcription software • Express Scribe transcription software • Strong and reliable internet connection • Transcription foot pedal • High-quality transcription headphones • AAERT certification receives premier consideration • Ability to meet 1–3 day turnaround times • Expected availability of 20–25 hours per week
